OPERS closed to in-person office visits, temporarily suspends seminars

Governor Stitt has declared a state of emergency for all 77 counties of Oklahoma via Executive Order 2020-07. OPERS is taking immediate steps to safeguard our members, staff and the general public.

Suspension of in-person visits to OPERS offices

While we remain open for business by phone and email, we have closed our offices to walk-in appointments and in-person consultations. As always, please call us if you have a question that could be answered by phone.

Suspension of all seminars and other member education sessions

We are also temporarily suspending all seminars and member education sessions for a period of 30 days. This includes our pre-retirement seminars and informational meetings to active members and employers around the state.

OPERS remains in communication with state health officials and the Governor’s office for the most up-to-date information affecting statewide preparedness. We will continue to update our website and phone systems to provide the information you need to conduct business with OPERS with minimal disruption. You can access our website at www.opers.ok.gov, or call our Contact Center at 800-733-9008.
