The thoughts and prayers of the OPERS staff are with all of those impacted by the recent tornados throughout Central Oklahoma.
The extensive damage and destruction to homes and businesses in the Carney, Luther, Shawnee, Newcastle and Moore areas, as well as the damage to the post office branch in Moore, has had implications on the ability of some of our members to receive their mail and/or correspond with OPERS.
We encourage any of our members affected by the storms who may have a pending request with OPERS, to contact us should they require special attention. The OPERS staff is also ready to work with retirement coordinators to help facilitate our services to members as they make this difficult adjustment. As a reminder, the OPERS change of address form can be downloaded here.
The US Postal Service has taken steps to help those affected by the storms. Affected members can call the Oklahoma district USPS customer hotline at (866) 295-7514 to receive the latest delivery service updates for their area.
